Physics and the Olympics

As we enjoy the Olympic coverage and celebrate our national pride, don’t forget that sporting events can drive home the lessons in many college level courses. I’m not talking just about the Games’ ancient history you might glean from CIV101.

Sports science is the application of all sorts of mathematics, science and health sciences and it goes a long way in making our athletes more competitive.
